The Rendezvous agent (rva) is a background process that supports Rendezvous communications for Java applets. For security reasons, remote untrusted applets cannot connect directly to the Rendezvous daemon (rvd); instead, they connect to rva, which in turn connects to rvd. RVA can be used not only by Java applets, but all client applications, which need to access TIBCO integration services, but are not fully trusted.
