Rotating Pressure Vessel Oxidation Test

also known as RBOT or rotating bomb oxidation testing. A method to assess expected remaining oxidation life of a lubricating oil by a standardised accelerated aging method. Often used for assessing oil degradation on rotating equipment, but as a relatively expensive test usually reserved for turbomachinery.
