This is an "INCO" term, defined in the book "Incoterms".<p> Has to do with when the title to goods changes from seller to purchaser, who is responsible for freight, insurance, duties etc. If something is sold "ex-ship" it means that freight, insurance are covered by the seller. The buyer has to unload it and pay duty at the point of delivery.
