BPE meaning in oil and gas

Critical activites, such as drilling a well, performing a third party tie back or executing a significant platform modification are recorded in BPE which contain key financial and activity planning data. BPE also exist for area base operations and therefore the sum of an area's BPE is the business outcome for that area. Finance uses RPU specific tools to model area economics using the information and updates from BPE.
